About the event
The student business case competition attracts students from most universities in the Maritime provinces. Teams are comprised of 2-4 undergraduate students. Teams will be given the case on Saturday September 28th at 9:00 am and will have 3 hours to prepare a 15-minute PowerPoint presentation. There will be a banquet following the presentations. It is expected that students will use to Friday September 27th and Sunday the 29th as travel days. Teams will present their response to a panel of judges. The judges most often are non-academics and, in some cases, are the representatives of the business the case is about.
Accommodations: Through funding from Grant Thornton, accommodations will be paid for 2 nights for out-of-town students, but transportation to Sydney is the responsibility of the participants.
If you have questions please direct them to academic@dalcomm.ca. Looking forward to your involvement.
